Hardworkers creche was established in 2002, most children from Hluvekani where not attending pre-school before the establishment of the day-care. Those that saw the need would walk their children to neighbouring villages. Since its conception, the creche has had children graduating and moving on to start primary school every year. There are currently 68 children enrolled, their ages rage from new-born to 5-year-olds. There are 5 staff members that look after the children, 3 teachers, a cook and a cleaner.
Africa Foundation has been actively involved in Hluvekani since 2016, and if fundrasing to ensure that the infrastructure meets The Department of Social Development standards.
